How to create separate c++ files in visual studio without creating multiple projects?

Such a problem. I'm used to pascal abs that you can create countless files, without being tied to projects and other crap. And then I recently started practicing C++ in Visual studio 2017, and there it turns out that you can create files only with reference to projects, and I would just practice, do simple programs. What to do ?
