How to create roles in ASP.NET MVC?

Can't find anywhere how to create roles. How?
I want to make it so that when entering a page with one address, depending on the role, different functionality appears, for example, deleting, adding messages. This can only be done by putting views with the same names in different folders and setting up roles for them?
This is the first thing I decided to start with and I see a bunch of all sorts of settings, classes, and there is no end to them. Maybe you should start by trying to write a normal authorization without roles?
