How to create apk yourself?

I was always interested in the possibility of creating apk myself, in other words, how to do it? I understand that I want to reinvent the wheel, and yet I want to create an apk. I don't want to use android studio and the like, I only need to see the code, know how the apk file structure itself works, and how to build the application using computer and compiler(s), I don't mind downloading ndk sdk jdk
