How to create an online store without backend knowledge?

Hello everyone. I received a request from a friend to create a small online store for him with a catalog of goods (about 50 items), which you can change + sort these goods into different categories. The problem is that I have no experience in creating complex projects, only front. In the list of my skills at the moment there is only a good knowledge of html + css, web design and js. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the backend and cms systems, only the frontend. Therefore, I would like to ask for advice on how best to implement all this, with what tools enjoy.

- there are two directions of choice, free and paid ecommerce systems.
Of the free ones, this is opencart, it is also possible on WordPress, as they say above, but I would not recommend systems that are not ecommerce platforms, where the store functionality is implemented by a separate plugin.
There are enough paid, there are plenty to choose from.
2. By type of ownership
- developing your own or renting a ready-made store. This option is suitable when you need a quick start, see how things go.
3. Development options
- learn on your own or delegate the task to another. As an option, buy a commercial template.
