How to create a WI-FI point on Win7 through a wi-fi adapter?
Out of ignorance, I bought a wi-fi adapter TP-Link TL-WN851N . I thought I could distribute wi-fi. It turned out that the signal is only receiving :)
Can I somehow make an access point through this adapter?

Try the following in Windows 7: Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Manage Wireless Networks -> Add -> Create Computer-to-Computer Network (This creates a temporary network for file sharing or Internet connection -> Continue you set the network name, security type, security key, and configure the properties of the point.
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid="POINT_NAME" key="PASSWORD" keyUsage=persistent
netsh wlan start hostednetwork
Sometimes a banal Computer-Computer network is enough. For example, iOS devices pick up and work successfully without any problems. It is only important to make an Internet connection available to this network.
and try to install the very first version of connectify. I also had problems with the latter.
I suffered for a long time, I created an adhoc network, but sometimes I got BSOD. AP did not go to any. I think it's not an option for you, but because of this I switched to Linux. I just filled in 2 configs from the instructions and the card started an AP that has been working for 2 years so far. If anything I can help in setting up, but IMHO, under Windows 7, firewood does not allow this to be done normally. Perhaps there are patched ones to look for. Good luck.
