1. If the shortcut itself is to emulate the button: how to use autoIt , write a script that will send {Home}, create a shortcut to the autoit script, switch Windows to 1-click mode
2. If the dblClick shortcut does something: then write a dll that will inject itself into the explorer.exe process and do its job on the Desktop ListView .... I don’t know how in win7 and higher, but in WinXP this was done simply
