How to create a shopping list in phonegap?

Good day to all! Recently I came across such a thing as phonegap , I was very interested in it. Somehow looking through the manuals on this topic, I came across the following: an example of an application was shown - a certain shopping list - there is a field in which you write what you need to buy, and a button "add" to the list itself. They wrote there as far as I remember in js, but maybe there was also php. That's actually the question itself, where can I find a similar manual (with such a shopping list)? Thanks in advance!
