How to create a server (connection) MS SQL?

MS SQL SERVER installed along with Visual Studio, and Management Studio itself.
All files are there for the server, but I don’t know how to create a connection, since before the connection was automatically created

In the Server name field , write the server IP address, or its name, if it is installed on the same computer as Management Studio, you can write localhost,
then enter the username and password, and you are connected
