How to create a history of user actions on a wordpress site?
Hello.
There is a website http://workingmama.ru/afisha , where under each event there is an "Add to plan" button. When you click on the button, this event appears in the block at the top right, if you close the browser and open the site again, the plan is saved even without registration.
The question is how to achieve such functionality for registered and unregistered users on the site, the site is powered by wordpress.
I'm just starting to understand wordpress, I tried to dig in the direction of cookies, so far there are no results.
Thank you.

Read how the "remember me" checkbox works.
All this works through sessions, just with a large lifetime set (and the session ID is stored just in cookies)
Why is it not working on cookies?
The scheme is as follows:
1. In the right place, we make buttons, when clicked, cookies will be written via AJAX.
2. We make a block in the sidebar that reads the recorded cookies and displays the added events.
PS Here the user added an event and ... what next? .. The picture is not complete, so it is impossible to paint the whole process step by step. Tell us in more detail what and why, how you see it from beginning to end.
