How to create a Debian/Ubuntu build?

I need to install debian (Ubuntu can be) on several computers with pre-installed programs and settings. I searched on the Internet, I did not find anything sensible. I read about debootstrap but it's not clear how I can create a LiveCD from the installed system.

tu-ta is not a bad guide,
you will understand the algorithm - you can apply it to almost any linux distro

Take a look at preseed with network boot.

It's easier not to build, but to install via PXE and customize using Kickstart or the "native" way

From the installed most likely will not work. It is better to use unattended install and configuration scripts.
