How to create a category by secondary features in Wordpress?

Hello! Here I understand with my mind that it’s simple, but I can’t catch the solution. There are regular sections. Let's say photos of cats, cars and women :) These are the main headings. But in addition, I also want to separately display headings by photo colors: red, blue, green, and so on.

The easiest option is to create a cloud of headings, where there will be both primary and secondary (colors) - then just mark the main and color (as secondary) when publishing. And output based on this color. But it somehow turns out to be a lot of things. Maybe somehow there is a plug-in to display categories by tags, by some other words? Somehow simpler and more elegant, highly desirable without code...

In wp, the extra headings are Tags, use them. You can also display records by them, and if necessary, filter according to more complex logic.

Good afternoon!
You can create your own taxonomy (even with the help of a plugin or code), add it to posts and that's it.

I don't know if this will help you, but here's some kind of script to sort photos by color
