How to create a boot menu for operating systems?

Good afternoon!
I have a laptop with two hard drives:
SSD 120GB - costs Windows 10 HDD 320GB
- I want to cut and install Mint for testing/study Are there any nuances (I want to cut the second disk and install Mint)? Thank you!

When installing Linux, a bootloader is automatically installed (you can choose the installation partition yourself or entrust everything to the installer).

Find out where you have the bootloader from Windows. Most likely on an SSD.
Put mint on HDD, but when choosing to install GRUB, specify SSD. In theory, it will automatically update the MBR and create a boot menu.

Can be done as suggested by Fixid (easier).
You can put your own loader like rEFInd (harder).
