How to correctly set up work with sessions in nuxt.js and api on different domains?

There is a nuxt.js front on one domain and an api on another domain. The api sets session cookies and gets them back.
How to properly arrange session cookies in such a situation, given that the front and api on different domains are SSR, that is, requests to the api go both from the front server side and from the browser side?
