How to correctly migrate a project to Laravel 5.6 to https?

There is a project, small, and there was a need to switch to https, the question is, how to do it right? Anyone with experience please share.

The question has nothing to do with php or laravel. Google nginx (or whatever webserver you have) + letsencrypt and you'll be happy.
