How to correctly issue loon devices?

Actually there is a storage system to which 3 servers with esxi are connected, to set up a live migration, you need to give them a single storage.
The shelf allows you to represent the same set of disks as different loons or as the same one. I have little idea what it affects and how to do it right.
As far as I understand, you can safely present it to the store as the same loo. The downside of this approach is that if two nodes want to overwrite the same file, then the file will simply get corrupted, but this should not happen. esx does not work from multiple nodes with 1 VM.

How to properly present esx storage resources?
I will be glad to links to broaden my horizons.

ESXI on the datastore creates a VMFS file system , which is clustered. So you can safely give the esxi cluster one LUN with storage.
