How to correctly calculate the cost of the project?

Good day.
The crux of the matter is as follows.
I'm starting to get used to freelance exchanges. Now I take on any job and for almost any price, due to the lack of any portfolio. But in the future, when creating a rating and a portfolio, it will be necessary to determine the price of your work more correctly, and for me this is some kind of problem.
Tell me how to correctly determine the cost of a project, work, or just do an hour of your work.
Perhaps there are articles or some other information on this topic.
I will be grateful for all answers.
Thank you.

@Lost7070

come up with a number in your head, think about whether you will do this work for this number, if not, increase until you change your mind

summaUSD = X
happy = true

if  summaUSD >= happy
profit

The magic formula will always help :)

What is there to think about? :)
Take the number of working hours per month. Take your desired salary. Divide it by the number of hours. Adjust for experience/portfolio.
When taking an order: estimate the term of work, multiply by your price. You make adjustments for force majeure and the purchase of various gadgets. Get the final price of the project.

Practice evaluating on current projects, you probably understand what prices for them would be adequate.
