How to correctly add custom fields to a topic for livestreet cms?

Hi all!
There is a need to expand the set of standard topic fields (I created my own kind of topic).
How to store custom fields in a database?
- method 1 in the form of an Extra array of
the blob type - stupidly create your own field / several fields in the .topic_content table (there are probably pitfalls here too and I like / don't want to break the table structure) - your option? Which solution would you choose and why? How is it more correct from the point of view of ls architecture?
ps I just started to “join” the framework, don’t kick me if the question is simple
