How to copy text in excel by columns (more in the table of contents)?
Hello.
You need to copy the text (a list of English words with translation) from this site englishpages.ru/allwords.php into excel so that the English words are inserted into the 1st column of excel, and the translation of these words into the 2nd column.
The problem is that it is impossible to select a separate column with English words on the site, because this is not a column, but plain text, therefore, everything is selected entirely and, accordingly, when copying, in the excel table everything is inserted into one column, not two.
In the future, I want to transfer these words separated by columns to ANKI.
I will consider other ways how to transfer the list of words from this site to ANKI.

Copy to a text document. When importing, just specify the delimiter that separates the words. For example, a space or a tab or whatever you have.
You can also use notepad++ to format a text document by deleting/adding/replacing characters for a more correct import into Excel.
Select the list, save it in notepad, open it in excel.
All.
Because there the words are separated by Tab, it will open already divided into columns. If for some reason it does not open, select the column > "Data" > "Text by columns". Choose a column separator.
