How to copy in vim to paste into external file?
The copied data in vim can only be pasted into this editor, because this data is stored in the buffer, if I understand correctly. If I want to paste what I copied into an external text file or browser, nothing happens. Explain to a newbie how to do this trick?

If you press a double quote before the copy command, then the next key selects the register into which the text is copied. The register +
is just the system clipboard into which you need to copy in order to paste in another program. So copying the current line to the system clipboard is done by the following command: "+yy
, copying a paragraph - "+yip
, and so on.
