How to copy catalog.item for further editing?

Good afternoon!
Tell me how can I copy catalog.item for further editing?
I have it in the default components in /bitrix/components/. I don’t have it in the site templates, and since this component can’t be displayed separately from everyone else in the public part, how can I copy it?
