How to copy a project in git?

Tell me how best to solve the problem:
There is a blank for projects (styles, grid, html, etc.)
I want to put it on github and then take it from there, make a website for example and save it to a new repository as a separate project.

Just clone it, delete the git folder, do git init and that's it - the new repository is ready, then you can do whatever you want with it.
