How to copy a file to a user-specified directory if the current path is known?

The program is an organizer and allows you to accumulate the necessary documents in a single interface. The path to the file is known (stored in the database), the question is how to organize the copying of the file to where the user needs. For example, the file is on drive C, but you need to make a copy of it and save it to a USB flash drive. How to do it???
