How to convert images to .svg or .webp on a website?
Hello, I am not particularly versed in the topic of modern formats, but according to the requirements of Speed Insight, this is a necessary condition for good site speed indicators.
I work in Joomla CMS, by default it does not accept such formats.
Perhaps there are some precompilers for the server?
Or is it done in some other way?
Thanks for answers.
UPD. I came across an article that answers the question "how to upload svg to Joomla"
https://mb4.ru/cms/joomla/305-svg-media-legal-exte...
That is, just convert everything before uploading to the server?
UPD2. Based on the answers, I realized that using webp is dangerous, since not all browsers support them. Then continue to use png?

"but according to the requirements of Speed Insight, this is a necessary condition for good site speed indicators" - this did not affect the final results at all.
Have you seen browser support for .webp? https://caniuse.com/#feat=webp
Although, to my surprise, today there are more than 2 times more green blocks compared to half a year ago, this is still not enough to use on sites.
