How to conveniently browse vk.com on Ubuntu?

I decided to switch to Ubuntu, installed win fonts for the usual browsing of sites, the Tahoma font was not included in their composition - I installed it separately, but when I sit on vk.com (via Google Chrome) the font is very small, my eyes start to hurt, someone encountered / solved this task?

As far as I understand, the fonts in Ubuntu are applied only after a reboot. As I wrote, I installed the Tahoma font, and after rebooting the system, the site began to display in a more familiar form.

1) The fonts of the standard families of Ubuntu are quite OK, the generally accepted ones are also in the standard distribution, but there is no guarantee that the screw fonts will be beautifully anti-aliased and displayed 100%, since the rendering of fonts is completely different
2) Turn on anti-aliasing in the Unity Tweak Tool to the maximum - this is not that crooked dithering that in Windows, anti-aliasing really works fine and it becomes more pleasant to read
3) In the vk settings there is an option to increase fonts if all elements of the system interface are small - in 14.04 if adequate support for high-resolution displays - in the desktop settings you can turn the scale to a large side.
