How to control browser extensions in a corporate environment?

Good afternoon.
Who controls the use of browser extensions in a corporate environment.
There are tons of extensions ranging from VPNs to music downloaders.
Also, many are malicious, while they can be installed directly from the store.
The question was asked to Kaspersky - the answer did not please, they cannot control plug-ins with the help of their antivirus (delete and / or prohibit installation).

So far, the idea came to mind to create a script that will delete folders of certain extensions (each extension has a unique folder name).
Further this script to thrust in LOGON Group policy.
It will turn out a kind of under-antivirus.
The method looks crutch. If you have any ideas how it can be implemented better - write.

Google chrome is quite controlled by group policies . As for the rest of the chrome-like ones, I don't know.
