How to contact a third-party service?

Hello, let's say I have a django project and a third party service that is an integral part of it.
How to access this third party service? Javascript or Junga side? What is more correct? I have seen many do this with javascript (during parsing, I did not receive all the content due to the fact that the libraries I used did not execute js, but it did load the missing content).
