How to connect XLR (three pins) microphone to TRRS 3.5mm jack on smartphone?
Hello.
Faced this situation:
There is a microphone with an XLR connector (three pins). It has an adapter cable from XLR to TRS 3.5 mm (regular 3.5 mm minijack). I need to connect it to my smartphone to use it as an external microphone while shooting video.
Your smartphone has a TRRS 3.5 connector. There is an adapter for it to connect TRS. But this does not solve the problem, since the microphone will not work without an amplifier. Can you recommend an amplifier that would be suitable for my purposes? A kind of "mobile" option powered by a phone (OTG?) or a power bank.
Thank you.

And there are plenty of adapters from XLR to 3.5 mm TRRS in stores. I recommend taking it with a battery - it is not known whether the microphone will work without a preamplifier, but nothing is known about the model
