How to connect to a DFL-800 router using an RS-232 to RJ-45 adapter?

Good day!
There was a need to connect to the router using this adapter. How to set up a connection in this case in Putty?
Z. Y. If anyone knows how this ancient iron is configured and where you can find guides, please share. I killed half a day ... And on Monday you need to set it up.
UPD. Perhaps not quite correctly formulated. I'm interested in how to configure putti to work through the eth port on the computer and RS-232 on the device.
UPD2. It seems that I misunderstood the purpose of the adapter ... Thank you for prompting me.

I doubt that this path will lead you to success. The RS-232 / 8p8c adapter is usually used to connect a computer COM port (or USB, via a USB / RS232 adapter) to a special "console" 8p8c ("RJ-45" in slang) network device connector .
If I were you, I would take a USB / RS232 adapter and connect its output to the console port of the device (the appropriate cable should come with the kit).

@OLS

I would suggest 9600, 8 (data), 1(stop), none(parity), none(flow-control)
but d-link faq advises 9600, 8, 1, none(parity), hardware(flow-control)
