How to connect laptop wifi to mobile hotspot?
Hey!
We have 2 access points, bibliowifi and bibliosmart, the 1st point is used to connect laptops and mobiles, the 2nd point (bibliosmart) is mainly designed to connect mobile phones and usually laptops give a connection error when connected. BUT ... if you have a macbook, then you can connect to wi-fi for mobile, what's the point dear? Maybe I need to tweak some settings in a regular laptop, I tried to connect via an external network adapter, it also gives an error, why do I need this? The mobile hotspot is much faster and does not require constant password entry. Intuition suggests that this may depend on the chipset of the laptop adapter itself, perhaps apple has some kind of fashionable chipset that is perceived as a mobile phone and therefore allows you to connect to it.

It is possible to check by vendor mac address. Try replacing your mac address with an apple one and check.
