How to connect dot matrix printer to arduino?

I have an Epson LX300 printer, dot matrix, in working order. Can it be somehow made friends with arduino and print information from sensors?

and no need to reverse anything.
there is an ordinary (albeit large) comport, the printer can do a very simple ESC / P
