How to connect audio output and microphone input correctly?

I need the sound going to the speakers to be recorded on a microphone.
I connected the audio output and microphone input with a jack to jack cable, but some noise is recorded. Please tell me why?

You need not a microphone input, but a line input (Line In)

Of course, a month has passed, but still, if anyone is interested and finds in the search: what to do, you can use a virtual mixer, if your video card driver supports it (and often it does). Right click on the tray speaker icon, select "sounds", go to the playback/record tab, and there you can find the "virtual mixer" device. If you enable it, then you can get all the sounds output from wasapi from it to the recording program. This device is not in Synaptic and generic USB audio device drivers, but it is definitely in Ryltech and some external cards. Way two is installing a virtual audio cable , direct the sound output to virtual cable A, and put device B at the input of the recording program.
