How to connect an external pressure sensor to an Android phone?
There was a desire to make a hugging robot like a bear , but based on an Android phone. As I understood from the video, the pressure readings are taken from the sensor inside the rubber ball. There are a few phones with a built-in air pressure sensor, but it's not possible to put the whole phone inside the ball. How can I connect and read data from an external small pressure sensor? You need some kind of intermediate device that will take readings from the sensor and transfer it to the application via Bluetooth or USB

Bluetooth variant cxem.net/arduino/arduino64.php
Android USB Host variant: android.serverbox.ch/?p=549 I didn't use Arduino but STM32VL Discovery
in my small application . But it doesn't matter, the principle is the same.
There is another option for data transfer through the headset jack.
