How to connect an application bypassing the VPN network?

OS: Windows 7. VPN network connected by means of OpenVPN. All traffic goes through TAP-Windows Adapter. The vpn network was configured to be an American IP. How can I connect a separate application to bypass the VPN network?

If the application connects to specific IP addresses, you can set a route for these addresses not through VPN
