How to connect a wifi printer to an ethernet computer?
Of course, I'm wildly sorry ...
I bought a printer with a Wi-Fi Xerox 3020. I want to print via Wi-Fi.
But either I'm dumb, or I'm doing something wrong.
Here is the documentation for it, and here is the page of this printer with drivers
. I installed the drivers for the first time on a string.
The second time, when setting up the printer, I indicate that it must be Wi-Fi, and the installer looks for the Wi-Fi network to which the COMPUTER is connected. But my computer is connected via ethernet.
And how can I connect this Wi-Fi printer to the Wi-Fi network of the router so that I can send it to print from an ethernet computer that is connected to the same router?
If anything, the router settings are like this:
UPDATE:
the solution in the answers that helped turned out to be ... reboot the printer and router. :/
and gave a good link describing the non-triviality of the connection: https://4-the-masses.livejournal.com/129400.html
Thanks for the help.

update:
The actual reason was different. I raise from the comments.
This model sometimes loses the network, it has some problems with DHCP.
Restarting the printer and router helps (!)
Advice: Set up static ip on the printer .
the easiest way is to take a disk from the printer. connect it to your computer via usb cable.
and when you run the configuration wizard - explain to the printer about home wifi.
if there is no place to insert it, then download it from the manufacturer's website.
If there is nowhere to insert the cord, then take a laptop or smart. Long press the button on the printer.
The printer raises its grid. Connect to it and through the browser go to the printer's admin panel. Set up in it.
Now it doesn’t really matter that your computer is connected by wire, look for your Wi-Fi network through which your phone comes out.
