How to connect a bluetooth barcode scanner if there is no bluetooth support on the checkout?
Given:
Bluetooth barcode scanner with HID support, cash register (it's also a computer on an ARM processor with Linux buildroot OS with no documentation, but root access).
Task:
Connect a wireless Bluetooth scanner.
Note:
The cash register fully supports the USB keyboard.
The system kernel defines the bluetooth module dmesg | grep -i blue
Bluez utilities are missing from the system.
I ask you, colleagues, to help with the solution of this problem. There was an idea to find some device that will connect a bluetooth scanner and emulate pressing the buttons on the keyboard via USB, but unfortunately I have reached a dead end and I hope for your help. Thank you.
