How to configure sendmail under centos 6?

Installed centos 6, installed sendmail. I send the letter through sendmail -v , says that it is queued. Sent via mail, also no errors. But the letters do not reach. /var/log/maillog is empty. Where to look? How to setup?

Replaced /etc/mail/sendmail.mc
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp, Addr=127.0.0.1 Name=MTA')dnl
with
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp, Name=MTA')dnl
