How to configure screen scaling in eOS via xrandr?

The latest version of eOS Loki is installed.
I use a second monitor with fullHD resolution and I'm used to scaling the interface so as not to strain my eyes.
But in elementary I didn't find a native tool other than xrandr to scale the interface.
I run the following command:

xrandr --output DP-1 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 60 --scale 0.9x0.9

The interface increases, but everything is somehow smeared. Xrandr says that after scaling the resolution is 1728x972.
I'm using onboard Intel video. If you use discrete Nvidia, then --scale does not work correctly, the screen no longer fits into the physical dimensions.
Can you please tell me how to scale without "blurring"? Or maybe there is another way to do it without xrandr?

With xrandr without dithering, it can only scale the screen resolution.
Training for scaling the OS interface, it is the GUI that is used, so look for settings a la DPI there, for example, this should work better.
It may be that elemtary has no scaling tools at all, then I can only recommend another GUI.

I'm using the font scaling increase in the gnome tweak tool, along with the font scaling increase, and the interface itself is scaled up proportionately.
