How to configure MBR correctly?
such a situation, I made a disk image with Windows using the AOMEI backuper program, the disk from which I made MBR. NTFS
is now transferring data to another PC, there is a GPT disk, converted to MBR, put data there, but does not want to boot.
I chose legacy boot in BIOS, it didn't help, I tried fixmbr , with a standard installation disk, then I have a bootable repair disk with a bunch of utilities like BOOTICE, EasyBCD, but I don't know how to use them, more precisely, everything is simple there, but I don't understand the logic to the end work.
Perhaps it was not necessary to remake the disk in the MBR, the files are essentially all the same? Maybe you just had to manually create a bootloader for UEFI and everything would work?
Now I'm at the stage when nothing works and the testing ground is open :), who will dedicate me to this topic in more detail?)
I kind of understand but not completely :(
