How to configure CI to save some files after build?

I decided to try it for my Java CI project and almost immediately ran into a problem.
The fact is that I upload some user files (for example, avatars) to a certain img directory, and I put only links to these files in the database. After I compile a new build using Hudson, the img directory is deleted, and all links to uploaded images are broken.
Is there a way to move some directories from build to build?
