How to conduct an ICO (create your own cryptocurrency, and then sell these coins for dollars, rubles, etc.)?
Hello!
In the course of the implementation of the humanitarian project, the idea was born to hold an ICO, i.e. issue cryptocurrency tokens, and then transfer them in the form of shares for generally accepted money. I studied a lot of guides on Habré, but there are still a lot of questions, and the main one is:
- Let's say even if I take some altcoin source code from GitHub, rename everything there to my own names, and generate a unique cryptocurrency (some kind of Mylifecoin) , then how then to transfer it to shareholders? Considering that these are ordinary people who, for example, sit in Odnoklassniki in the evenings. This is the main question now.
- The second question: is there somewhere a step-by-step guide for dammiz, how to issue these tokens after all. Full cycle from start to finish. Initially, I looked towards Ethereum, since it seems to be what it is intended for. But when I started installing Mist, it even simply fell asleep on the test blockchain ("..creation is in progress...") and then, after reading the forums, I realized that it could take three days like this .. in general, something more lightweight is probably needed .
Please advise something.
How can this very ICO be implemented with reasonable labor costs?
Thank you.

you can’t generate your own, ICO is carried out on popular currencies (otherwise how will you get them in payment?),
usually it’s ETH, because the most expensive where there are smart contracts
are also accepted BTC, since there are most of them, but tokens (shares) are issued in the same ether or the original suitable currency: besides ether, Wawes is still a little popular, but they won’t complete the contracts in any way, in general, there is no alternative to ether for ICOs and for another six months or a year there will be no
currency other than ether - like BTC - and its clones and altcoins like Monero, sometimes they change forcibly on the air, but due to bitcoin jumps, the exchange is less and less, there are options with mini-exchanges, a bunch of wallets, etc. etc.
There are a lot of technical issues that you need to dig and dig, from synchronizing nodes to numbers with ETH / contracts (parity is the last and canonical example of this), so without a specialist in the topic it’s very difficult for yourself,
and marketing is a separate and expensive topic, but you can often pay with crypto but that in the end it’s not so expensive
, something like a guide is still being sold from 5-10k, so no,
there is only how to sing a crypt, it’s free to
implement: be ready to part with 20k and do it slowly, a year; 50k and light up - evaluate; real numbers to start sending something - 300-500k, and I think it will soon stop working in its current form, as the topic becomes more complicated - regulators appear, etc.
Well, look, I'm not competent, but I'm currently taking part in small front-end tasks in a project that backs these tokens for renting apartments. I saw a project where tokens are backed by space on the server. Those. it is necessary to provide the "currency" with something, even with kittens, even with cookies, as it used to be provided with gold, otherwise you won't attract anyone.
So he will not execute smart contracts until they are provided with resources. You need to start mining inside your test blockchain. Actually for this phrase I also wrote the answer.
In truth, it's much easier to just use the MyWish platform and not waste time learning irrelevant things. Or pay money to a programmer, but it will be clearly more expensive there.
I will add to the authors that in order to conduct an ICO, you also need a personal account, where, in fact, users will buy tokens. It is possible to realize the sale with payment in any currency. The same BTC, ETH, even Visa / MasterCard cards, which is especially cool for people who are faced with this for the first time.
And give the tokens on the air.
I write such solutions, a couple of ICOs have already been launched.
By the way, the very first stage of the Pre-ICO can be collected by transfers to wallets by preparing a convincing White Paper, and then, at the stage of the ICO itself, you can distribute tokens in Ethereum. I recorded a short video on the option of investing in BTC in the project: https://youtu.be/9M4ZYGPsJ7U
Such solutions cost about $ 1500 with the connection of all payments and design. If anything, knock - I will consult for free:itstepster.com
