How to complete a started project?

All my life I have been tormented by one problem: I
have an idea what to implement, I have knowledge and a desire to implement what I have planned.
But why does any development always start with fun, but is not completed to the end and is not brought to mind.
How to be?
Where to hit yourself so that what you started is brought to the end?

Get married. Your wife will hit you where necessary.

1. Limit functionality as much as possible, only the main features, nothing superfluous, no details
2. Do it FAST. And plan to get it done quickly. For example, if it is possible to use ready-made components, use them, do not reinvent the wheel, insignificant details that take a lot of time to cut off. If the project is delayed, the motivation is melting before our eyes.
3. Feedback. Money and accolades are very motivating. If you are doing a project and you feel that no one needs it, the desire to “write on the table” of course disappears. Regular feedback. Therefore, you need to quickly make the first release, and then work in short iterations so that there is constant feedback from users.
4. Avoid routine, try to throw it off to someone. For example layout. But this is already optional, since it requires costs.

The same garbage)
Only I have a little differently.
I want to do my own projects, but I can't because there are orders.
You also need to eat while the startup is being done.
And then I come up with something else and I don’t really want to do the old startup.
As a result, there are four sites made by 25% each.
But I found a way.
Hired a freelancer who works on my payroll.
He makes either my orders, or simple developments for my projects.
I have very little money left, but I have time.
One project is coming to an end already, and I'm overjoyed. :)

If you can't finish a project for more than three months, throw it away. I did this with graduate school and with a couple of projects) Life is interesting - you should not spend it on something that you simply consider it necessary to finish, but you are not interested.

Find an incentive, without it in any way.

So there is a lack of motivation. This may be for various reasons - do not “burn” with this idea, you are dragging it out too much ... Think about the reasons for the loss of interest.

Write to me in private. Let's talk, discuss. You need a professional coach to help you crystallize your priorities and outline your trajectories. :)

You are just an introvert. There was an article, I can’t find it now, about how it can be used, you don’t have to “break” yourself, time management and so on is not for you.
Damn where did this post go...

Plan for tasks for yourself, maybe not big, but so that you can see the process of what has already been done and plans.

You can try to do less global, more focused projects. They came up with something - do not rush to do it right away, think carefully, ruthlessly throw out 90% of what you wanted to do - the remaining 10%, the very essence, it will be easier to bring to implementation (because the goal is clear and tangible) and more useful (rather everything, you will learn a lot about your original idea).

There was something similar. Perhaps the best advice would be - do not start alone. Of course, there is a temptation to own everything and everything, but these are illusions. What would you prefer - 30% of 1000000 or 100% of 0? Find yourself a partner, and preferably 2x, and responsibility and motivation will appear. Good luck.
