How to compile foundation framework files?

Hello, I recently got acquainted with a wonderful framework from zurb. At first, I just downloaded everything ready, and rewrote the CSS rules. But then I caught a glimpse of something about SCSS and SASS, which got me interested. I started to master, installed everything according to the instructions, created a project. After manipulating SCSS files, I wondered how to "compile" this whole thing, I came across the Koala utility, there are no problems with CSS.
So, the essence of the question: the framework uses additional libraries such as modernizr, jquery, and its own scripts. On my test project, I connected everything with my hands, everything seems to work, but there is a feeling that something is wrong, namely the connection of scripts. I think it's all thought out, and there are console commands for "compiling" the finished project. Maybe I'm a little wrong about all this. Please explain to me what's what!
