How to compile apk with Buildozer?

Wandering through a bunch of errors when compiling an application

# Check that aidl can be executed
# Search for Aidl
# Run '/Users/linaquinzel/.buildozer/android/platform/android-sdk-20/build-tools/23.0.1/aidl'

# Aidl cannot be executed
# 
# You might have missed to install 32bits libs

Aidl works fine on the computer.
I think that the problem is in the M1 processor
. Googling did not give anything.
