How to compile a program under linux in monodevelop? Delivered mono, but projects are compiled under Windows. You have to use Vine, which is not always convenient. Distribution: elementaryOS (based on Ubuntu). mono version: 4.0.12

Delivered mono, but projects are compiled under Windows.

You should get an exe file that runs like this:
mono MyCoolProgram.exe
