How to competently create and use the recycler view fragment in the bottom navigation view?

Good afternoon. The bottom line is that I created a project with a bottom navigation view. When I click on the second button, I should display a fragment with a recycler, but the problem is that I don’t know how to create this fragment. I was able to create one class for the card :ModelItem.Another for the adapter,recycler and layoutmanager: Main2Activity.And the main class with BottomNavigationView: MainActivity.But if you just take and add the intent to the button in the navigation, a new page opens.And I need the navigation to remain.I want to fix this fragment, but I only know its basics. I tried to insert all the code from Main2Activ into the fragment class, but some errors come out. How to be?
