How to combine text and numbers to feed into a neural network?

I welcome everyone. I am studying neural networks and doing my project at the same time, everything is going smoothly, but there was one small hitch.
The fact is that in the dataset, not only numerical values, but also text should go to the input to the neural network. How to process it, etc. I know, but I don’t quite understand how all this can be correctly processed together - create a separate network for the text and connect it to another, or try to somehow process everything together in one network.
Who fumbles in the subject - can you tell me, please, how best to proceed?
