How to colorize an image with colors from another?

There are two pictures, for example.

Is it possible in some way to "colorize" the second one with the colors from the first one? Without selecting manually for different sliders from image>adjustments, but to poke a couple of buttons and that's it.

put a color picture on top of a black and white one, change the layer blending mode to Color, you get colored rubbish, but nothing else (in Photoshop).
Recently, a program for coloring bw images was invented, it was covered on Habré / Giktimes, look there.
