How to collect TOP 10,000 content sites?

Here a slightly non-trivial task arose: to collect the TOP-10,000 Russian-language sites (by number of visits) that give people written content (news, various stories), excluding blogs.
How can this be done?
Only parsing of various databases with subsequent manual screening comes to mind. The only problem is that there are simply no bases from where you can get the TOP-10,000 (and you need more, if the bunch then drops out) of the most visited Runet sites. Well, either I searched badly.

To go through the tops of li.ru, mail.ru, you still need to parse the closed statistics of li.ru on a special request and see how much attendance is there. But some visited sites are not in li.ru at all, they are sitting on closed statistics in GA - unfortunately there is no way to get to them.
In general, I’m interested in what you get, is it possible to follow your project somewhere?
