How to close editing crontab?

I write crontab -e in the terminal. As mentioned in the articles, when you enter this command, the default text editor should open, edit, and then be sure to close the editor for the changes to take effect.

But for some reason, editing opens directly in my console and I don’t understand how to close the file at the same time (just closing the terminal does not help).

Yes, I see there 10: Quit. But how do you click on it?
In fact, you need alt + number and in the case of alt + 2 (i.e. save) it works. But when I press alt+10, alt+1 happens and help opens.

f10?
or you can change the editor to another: vi (m), nano or gui (if there is a gui at all).
