How to clone customized ubuntu?

Hello colleagues.
I set up a Linux system on a virtual machine, tuned it - it’s any expensive. Arranges.
It remains to do exactly the same about 500 more times.
There are 1000 ways to create windows images, for example for center systems. Is there something similar for Linux?
Is it possible to simply create a "ready-made iso or img image" in Linux?
Approximately 10 years ago, Remastersys was very pleased with it, creating a custom copy of the distribution kit took a few minutes.
Is there something similar now? Very, very necessary. If there is, and also free .... I will be incredibly very grateful for mana, something and any other information

I want to offer the option of creating a disk image through Clonezilla, followed by replication from a USB flash drive or over the network.
You can then go over the top already by the configuration management system for fine-tuning.

There are several options.
Cloning one-to-one with dd if=/dev/sdX
Copying all files (read the gentoo handbook)
Copying puppet, ansimble, chief configs
Containerizing docker or lxc/lxd

How to clone - I do not know, because. usually Linux people go the other way: all tuning is done using some SCM like ansible or salt, and simply rolls out over the installed system.

If you want to do Feng Shui, then you need to use configuration management systems. There are similarities of Remastersys, such as Systemback, only they are terribly crooked.

I do not recommend doing a full clone. Only settings should be cloned.

Are the cars the same?
At least screws?
For me, the system will have to be poured onto the machine manually. Problems with mount can get out.

It is necessary to make from one 500 virtual machines? Will cloning the VM by the hypervisor itself not work? Or export/import machine.

set up a Linux system on a virtual machine ...
It remains to do the same about 500 more times.

So this is one of the advantages of virtualization - you can clone it entirely. You can download it all as an image. There are converters, if you suddenly need to shove it into another hypervisor. Since this is a virtual machine - some operating system-level tools are simply not needed, do this task using the means of the hypervisor itself and its utilities.

Make an image in Timeshift, copy it to a flash drive. On another system, install Timeshift and "restore" the system using the image on the flash drive.
